Chris Henning (aka - Minutiaman)
Producer/Engineer
Influences:
Shane D. Wilson, Richard Dodd, Martin Woodlee,
Buddy Miller, Dann Huff, & Jerry McPherson
Philosophy:
“Serve the artist, the music, the Maker.”
Background:
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Chris received his
career training at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL - graduating
Valedictorian with an Associate of Science Degree in Audio Engineering.
For the next five years, Chris worked as a freelance engineer in Nashville, TN. He cut his teeth assisting renowned engineers Richard Dodd and Shane D. Wilson and soon established himself as an outstanding engineer in his own right. An exceptional ear for detail earned him the moniker ‘Minutiaman’ among his Music City peers - a name which has obviously stuck.
In 2006, Full Sail founder Jon Phelps hired Chris as Staff Engineer for DC3 Entertainment/Sonic Temple Studios. An artist’s playground, Sonic Temple boasts one of the world’s finest collections of instruments, recording equipment and staff. For two years, Chris worked at DC3E alongside fellow gear-junkie, M*A*S*H fanatic and good friend - Martin Woodlee.
A longing to return to his roots in the world of freelance production and engineering led Chris back to Seattle in 2008. It is here that he established Minutiaman Productions and where he continues his passionate pursuit of making great music.
Noteworthy:
Chris’ clients & credits include Grammy and GMA Dove Award winning artists and songwriters as well as multiple RIAA certified Gold records.
